Business Development Manager - Chicago

Are you a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager looking for a new challenge? Our client, a small Asian freight forwarder, is currently hiring for their sales team in Chicago and Los Angeles. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company and make a significant impact on their business expansion.

Job Description:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, focusing on business growth and revenue generation.
  • Identify opportunities for new business development and implement effective strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new market opportunities.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals to potential clients, highlighting the benefits of our services.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize results.

Required Skills:

To excel in this role, you must have:

  • Proven track record in business development and sales, preferably in the freight forwarding industry.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to bring a book of business and expand the client base.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
