Business Development Manager - Midwest US

Are you a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager looking for a new challenge? Our client, a leading mid-sized freight forwarder based in the Midwest US, is seeking a dynamic individual to join their team. With their own fleet of freight 747's and an established book of business, our client is well-positioned for growth and success in the industry.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging existing relationships and expanding the client base
  • Manage key accounts, building strong and long-lasting relationships with customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to identify emerging opportunities

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the freight forwarding industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Strong knowledge of international logistics and supply chain management
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
