Business Development Manager - Minneapolis

Are you an experienced Business Development Manager looking for a new opportunity in the freight forwarding industry? Look no further! We are currently seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager for a large Asian forwarder based in Minneapolis.

About the Role:

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our client's business. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets. This is an exciting role that offers a strong commission structure and the opportunity to work with a leading company in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the freight forwarding industry
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, driving revenue growth for the company
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Prepare and present sales proposals to prospective clients

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • At least 2 years of experience working as a Business Development Manager in the freight forwarding industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
