Corporate Compliance Manager

About the Role:

• Oversee the corporate compliance program, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures, keeping up to date with industry best practices.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and address potential compliance issues.
• Provide leadership, information and advice regarding import/export product classification matters (Schedule B numbers, HTS classification, tariff classification, country of origin determination and compliance with trade agreements)
• Stay informed about changes in regulatory requirements and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensures compliance with applicable regulations, including those administered by CBP, FDA and corresponding agencies and regulations outside of the United States

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate compliance.
• Customs Broker License is required.
• 4+ years of people management experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - ability to integrate with the team and clients
• CargoWise and ACE Portal knowledge
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
