Air/Ocean Import Assistant
Do you have previous experience in Air or Ocean Import?
On behalf of my client, a mid-sized freight forwarder, I am looking for someone
with previous import experience, eager to learn and develop within a company
that reward good results.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading logistics company with a competitive salary range of €42,000 to €48,000 gross annually.
Job Description
- Processing of import orders according to customer instructions including customs clearance
- Direct customer contact, communication as part of order processing in German and English
- Email correspondence, communication with authorities, especially customs (objections, etc.)
- Coordination with transporters about necessary transport and price negotiations
- Arranging transfers from the Ground Handling Agent (GHA) to the warehouse
- Creation of transport orders and outgoing invoices
- Coordination and monitoring of delivery dates
About you
- Experience and in-depth knowledge of daily customs clearance, dealing with the EZT
- Good written and spoken German & English
- Communication skills and Teamwork oriented
