Our client is a leading global freight forwarder with over 70 offices worldwide. With a solid reputation in the industry, they provide innovative logistics solutions to a diverse range of clients. They are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in Chicago.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to drive growth and increase market share.
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish strong relationships with potential clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and competitors.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to key decision-makers.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the freight forwarding industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong network of contacts within the industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
