We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our client's team as an Aerospace/Time Critical Freight Business Development Manager/Sales Executive.
In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business and managing client relationships within the aerospace industry. Your primary focus will be on selling time-critical airfreight solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of aerospace companies mostly in the Florida area, ensuring the timely delivery of critical components, equipment, and spare parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect, identify, and target aerospace companies as potential clients for time-critical freight services.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the aerospace sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target accounts.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and propose customized freight solutions that address clients' specific time-sensitive requirements.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations and logistics, to ensure the seamless execution and delivery of freight services.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to win new business and secure long-term partnerships.
- Track sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate regular reports to management to evaluate progress towards sales goals and inform strategic decision-making.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and promote our client's aerospace freight solutions.
- Continuously seek feedback from clients to enhance service offerings, improve customer satisfaction, and drive business growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a focus on selling freight or logistics services.
- Experience working within or selling to the aerospace industry is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and logistics operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
