Job Title: Sales Executive – Freight Forwarding

Location: Netherlands (Hybrid/Remote options available)

Salary: €80,000 (including competitive bonus structure)

We are now looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing team and help us expand our footprint in the Dutch market.

You are a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in the freight forwarding or logistics industry. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, love building relationships, and have a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in global supply chains. What Will You Do?

As a Sales Executive, you will:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Netherlands, targeting key industries such as manufacturing, retail, automotive, and e-commerce.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their logistics needs and offering tailored freight forwarding solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, and pricing) to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and market developments to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales, preferably within freight forwarding, logistics, or a related industry.
  • Skills:
  • Proven ability to generate new business and close deals.
  • Strong understanding of air, ocean, and road freight services.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Dutch and English.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Mindset: A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
